The training centered on policies and regulations such as the "Safety Regulations for Confined Space Operations in Industrial and Trading Enterprises." Combining these with typical accident cases from recent years, the sessions conducted an in-depth analysis of critical links including risk identification, approval processes, usage of protective equipment, and detection of toxic and harmful gases. Through case-based teaching and interactive Q&A, the instruction focused on the hazards and prevention measures of common toxic gases like hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide, significantly reinforcing the safety knowledge system of the participants.
The practical session utilized a "Scenario-Based Teaching" model. Participants practiced using essential equipment such as positive pressure breathing apparatuses, gas detectors, and tripod rescue systems. Furthermore, a full-process rescue drill was conducted simulating a "confined space poisoning and asphyxiation accident," allowing staff to apply theoretical knowledge in a realistic emergency setting.
